Synchro events set to kickstart British National Diving Cup

Britain's top divers are poised to round out 2023 and continue their preparations for Olympic year as the Scottish National Diving Championships inc. British National Diving Cup 2023 gets underway in Edinburgh today (14th December). 

A host of synchro partnerships get the contest started from 6pm at the Royal Commonwealth Pool, with three duos who won medals at this year's World Aquatics Championships involved - Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and Lois Toulson (Women's 10m Synchro), Jack Laugher and Anthony Harding (Men's 3m Synchro) and Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen (Women's 3m Synchro). 

As well as that, the day's action sees Tom Daley return to British Diving competition for the first time since before his gold and bronze Olympic medal triumphs at Tokyo 2020. He partners Noah Williams in the Men's 10m Synchro contest.

Individual events then take over from Friday, with the Women's 1m and Men's 3m Springboard events taking us into the weekend, before the Men's 1m Springboard and Women's 10m Platform events take centre stage on Saturday. 

Sunday closes with Women's 3m Springboard action, while the Men's 10m Platform finale will bring the curtain down on an unforgettable year for the sport.
