ONLINE BIOGRAPHICAL DATABASE LAUNCHED
18 May 2007 08:51

An online database that will ensure that commentators and announcers have accurate biographical information about swimmers at national championships has been launched today.

Replacing the current hard-copy system, biographical datasheets are available to complete online and can be updated throughout the year. All swimmers entering an event online will be automatically asked to complete a Biographical Datasheet.

This information will mean that spectators will be given up-to-date information on anyone participating in the event.

The new approach will mean that swimmers will be able to make sure that their details are current before competition begins.

The service is password protected, meaning that only registered swimmers will be able to access it and any information shown should not contain details that would allow an outside party to contact the individual, with any information entered that may do this being blocked.

To access the Biographical Database, please CLICK HERE.
