Masters swimmers across the country will compete to find who can swim the farthest in 30 minutes as part of the ASA’s Half Hour Masters Postal Swim which opened at the start of the month.

ASA, SASA and WASA registered swimmers and clubs have until 31 January 2007 to post a distance in the competition that caters for all masters swimmers as well as pre-masters in the 19-24 age group. Clubs can even enter four-strong teams into the event in mixed or single-sex groups.
The Masters Postal Swim was introduced to encourage swimmers to take part in longer distance events at a time of year when longer training swims are desirable and it has become a great opportunity for clubs and individuals to take on a national challenge out of timetabled competition.
