09 Feb 2007 12:29

Entry forms for the British Masters and Senior Age Group Championships are now available either from the British Swimming Website or from the  National Events Office at loughborough (National Events Office, 41 Granby Street, Loughborough LE11 3DU).

There are some important changes to this event that would-be competitors should be aware of.

 1. The senior age group is now 18-24 for both men and women.

 2. All competitors in the 18-24 age group must be aged 18 years on the day of their first swim in the Championships and below the age of 25 at 31 December 2007.

3. There is now a 72-year-plus age group for male, female, and mixed teams all swimmers must be aged 18 years and over on the day of their first swim in the championsips.. These teams may include swimmers over the age of 25.

4. The Championships conditions have been clarified so that in the ‘mixed’ events male and female swimmers may be required to share a lane.

5. In events where two swimmers share a lane they may be required to wear hats provided by the organisers.

6. The Coupar points trophy is now open to all clubs, British and
     overseas.
