Entry procedure
As usual the procedure for submitting entries for the European Masters Championships in Kranj is not as straightforward as one might like.
However, the following procedure has been agreed between the GB Masters Committee and the British Swimming administration.
It is important that all entries should be made through the British Swimming office at Harold Fern House, Loughborough, where they will be endorsed, as required by the organisers, on behalf of the governing body (British Swimming).
Also, entry fees must have been paid prior to the entry form being submitted to Harold Fern House, and proof of payment should accompany the completed entry form.
Please see the Championship website for full details of the entry procedure, the documents to be submitted, etc.
The following procedure will apply:
1. Completed entry forms should be sent with proof of entry fee payment
to Jane Sheard at British Swimming, Harold Fern House, Derby
Square, Loughborough, LE11 5AL;
2. Competitors are responsible for the accuracy of the information
provided on the form and for the payment of entry fees (and for
attaching proof of payment to their entry form);
3. The procedure is the same for competitors in all disciplines
(swimming, diving, water polo, synchro, open water);
4. All English competitors must be registered as category two ASA
members:
Welsh competitors must be registered with the Welsh ASA as category two
members (or category four if over 70 years old):
Scottish swimmers must be registered with SASA in category four;
5. If you want an acknowledgement that your entry has been received by Jane Sheard and forwarded to the Championship organisers, please enclosed a stamped addressed postcard with your entry forms.
6. Entries will be sent on from Harold Fern House direct to SI Sport Ltd, so should reach Harold Fern House at least 10 working days prior to the closing date (i.e. by 11 June), and preferably longer.
