SARAH PRICE TO RUN MARATHON
16 Apr 2007 15:55

Former Commonwealth Champion Sarah Price has swapped her swimming kit for a pair of running shoes to take up the challenge of running the London Marathon on 22nd April.

The ASA Regional Business Manager hopes to raise thousands of pounds for the Macmillan Cancer charity after seeing affected by the disease

“Quite a few close friends have lost family members to cancer and they can’t praise the Macmillan nurses too highly,” said Price. “So I decided to do something for them.”

Price has been in training since November 2006, and has already completed a number of long distance races in preparation for what is arguably the toughest run to participate in throughout the UK.
