MARATHON EFFORT FROM SARAH PRICE
24 Apr 2007 16:07

Former Commonwealth Champion Sarah Price completed the Flora London Marathon in an impressive time of 4 hours 48 minutes.

The ASA Regional Business Manager was one of 36,396 runners taking part in the largest ever marathon in the country’s capital.

She hopes to raise thousands of pounds for a charity close to her heart, Macmillan Cancer charity after seeing loved ones affected by the disease.

Price had been training since November 2006 and took part in various long distance races before the marathon.

“I think I experienced every emotion possible throughout the race,” she said. “It was a really good experience and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for their support and sponsorship.”
