Up to 100 disabled youngsters will have the opportunity to try swimming as part of a Disability Sport Event (DSE) Mini Games taking place in Stoke Mandeville this weekend.
Swimming is one of a variety of sports offered to children aged 6-12 at this annual event. The weekend is designed to give young disabled children the opportunity to try out a range of activities including Polybat, Table Cricket, Boccia and a selection of Track and Field events.
DSE Director of Events Gordon Neale OBE is looking forward to meeting the young stars.
“This is the opportunity to spot this country’s future talent,” he said. “Some of our best Paralympians have once participated in this event. Thanks to Amicus Foundation we can continue to inspire young gifted children to take up disability sport“.
