GENERAL INFORMATION

First sporting success: Playing for a local hockey team when I was younger

Tip for the top: Train hard and always focus on what you are doing

First GB selection year: 2004

Sporting heroes: Ian Thorpe

Closest friends in sport: Everyone at Millfield and everyone I've met through British Swimming

Favourite sport other than swimming: Golf- I really enjoy playing it

Three words that best describe you: Funny, enthusiastic and cheerful

Would most like to meet: Ian Thorpe

Most prized possession: My laptop

Biggest influence on career: My coach- Doug Campbell. He's always there, pushing me and believing in what I can do

Toughest opponent: The swimmers I swam against in the Australian National Age Group Championships in Perth 2004, especially the Australian competitors.

Biggest passion away from swimming: Beating my dad at golf!

Biggest disappointment: My performances at the British Championships (2005). I thought I'd qualify for more events at the European Junior Championships then I did

Favourite venue and why: Ponds Forge, Sheffield because it's a really fast pool to swim in

Tips to relax: Play on the Playstation!

Family: My mum is called Elaine and my dad is called Trevor. He's a Company Director. I have a sister called Melissa and a brother called Jonathan

Ultimate ambition: To compete at the Olympics and win a medal

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still swimming
