Sporting heroes: Firstly my Dad, Steve Redgrave and Ian Black - he was my head teacher and a swimmer. He was the youngest person to ever win Sports Personality of the Year.

Favourite sport other than swimming: I enjoy playing and watching golf

Would most like to meet: My great granddad who was a very successful businessman back in the day!
Most prized possession: My ipod
Biggest influence on career: Ian Black (1956 Olympian and former headmaster). My dad has also been a big influence on me
Any family connections in sport: My dad was a British Champion skier. My mum was county district table tennis champion too!
Biggest passion away from swimming: Properly developing
How do you prepare to race: I prepare by trying to stay relaxed
Biggest disappointment: I was dropped from the 4x200m Freestyle relay team in Athens
Favourite venue and why: Manchester Aquatics Centre because I have had quite a bit of success there and my first major meet was there too
Family: My mum is called Jean and she's a professional mother! My dad is called Peter and he is a Jeweller. I have a brother and sister called Angus and Malena
Ultimate ambition: To be happy and successful
Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Not swimming, probably living in Aberdeen and being a successful businessman!
