GENERAL INFORMATION

First sporting success:
Competing at the European Schools Championship in 2004

Finest sporting moment: Getting to the European Junior Championships this year

Tip for the top: Enjoy yourself

First GB selection year: 2005

Sporting heroes: Mel Marshall

Closest friend in sport: Chloe Hart

Other sporting successes: I used to play netball for my school if that can e count!

Favourite sport other than swimming: Tennis. I don't have a favourite player though because I like them all

Three words that best describe you: Bubbly, determined and motivated

Would most like to meet: The Queen!

Most prized possession: My mobile

Biggest influence on career: My dad. He used to coach me

Any other family connections to sport: My Aunty used to swim. She competed in the Commonwealth Games

Toughest opponent: Natalie Durant. Our races are always really close

Any pets: No. I used to have a fish though. When it died I flushed it down the toilet. Is that mean?

Biggest passion away from swimming: Going out with my mates

Favourite venue and why: Ponds Forge, Sheffield. It has a great atmosphere and I really like swimming there.

Tips to relax: Sleep!

Education: I'm in year 10, so the first of two years of my GCSE's. It's hard to balance schoolwork and swimming training. I don't get in till 8pm so I pretty much eat, do my homework then sleep after I get in from training.

Family: My mum's called Claire and she runs a swim school for children over 3 years old. My dad's called Tony and he works in a leisure centre. I also have a younger sister called Naomi who's 12 and she dances.

Ultimate ambition: To go to the Olympics. I'd love to go to Beijing

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still swimming hopefully
