GENERAL INFORMATION

First sporting success: Winning at the Nationals in 2003

Finest sporting moment: Winning a bronze medal at the European SC Championships (2006)

Tip for the top: Stick at what you are doing, don't give up and make sure you enjoy it

First GB selection year: Junior - 2004, Senior - 2006

Sporting heroes: I admire anyone who makes it to the top and followed

Closest friends in sport: Everyone I train with

Favourite sport other than swimming: I like watching gymnastics

Three words that best describe you: Crazy, fun and different

Most prized possession: My laptop and the fridge

Biggest influence on career: Everyone who has done something worth respecting

Toughest opponent: I aspire to beat anyone I swim against with better technique than me

Any pets: Mice, but their not ours. We also have a cat that's not ours either. My mum feels sorry for it and lets it in!

Biggest passion away from swimming: Eating anything that is homemade!

How do you prepare to race: I prepare by chilling out befoer the race and then focussing on it just before. I enjoy it and don't get too pressured

Biggest disappointment: Not making the Commonwealth Games (2006). I only just missed out

Favourite venue and why: Perth because that was where my first major international meet was

Education: I am doing my GCSE's this summer

Family: My mum and dad are called Helen and Paul. My dad is an Operations Director and my mum cooks tea! I've also have two brothers called Tom and Will

Ultimate ambition: To win an Olympic gold, to break world records and to be the best I possibly can

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Probably nearing the end of my career, hopefully doing something that I love
