GENERAL INFORMATION

First sporting success: In 2003 I won silver in the 200m Butterfly in the Nationals as well as a bronze medal in the 100m Butterfly.

Finest sporting moment: The British Championships were amazing. Also, the altitude camp I went to was great too!

Tip for the top: Enjoy what you do and always keep going no matter what disappointments come your way

First GB Selection Year: 2004

Sporting heroes: Michael Phelps and Patrick Thomas

Closest friend in sport: Jessica Dickons

Favourite sport other than swimming: Diving-I love to watch it

Three words that best describe you: Mischievous, mental and competitive!

Would most like to meet: Usher!!!

Biggest influence on career: The people at my swimming club who I've been with for many years

Any other family connections to sport: No- I'm the only sporty one in my family!

Toughest opponent: Jo Jackson

Biggest disappointment: In 2002 I qualified for the Nationals but I ended up not competing because I broke my toe. I was running and I got it caught in the hole at the bottom of a plant pot!

Favourite venue and why: Manchester Aquatic Centre because the first time I swam there I remember thinking how amazing the whole experience was and swimming well there

Tips to relax: Watch T.V, play on the computer and go out with friends

Education: I'm in Year 11. Drama, Geography and P.E are the subjects I'm taking.

Family: My mum is called Janet and she works in a bank. My dads name is Mike and he manages a Currys store and I've got an older sister called Naomi.

Ultimate ambition: To win an Olympic gold

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still swimming!
