GENERAL INFORMATION

First sporting success:
Scoring 4 goals when I was 9 for my local football team called Dryborough in a 7-a-side competition

Finest sporting moment: Qualifying for the European Junior Championships. Also setting a new PB at the British Championships (2005) in the 100m breaststroke

Tip for the top: Keep working hard, even through any bad times because you will come out at the other side as a better swimmer for doing it.

First GB selection year: 2005

Sporting hero: David Wilkie

Closest friends in sport: Everyone at the City of Dundee SC

Favourite sport other than swimming: Football- I'm a Dundee United fan

Three words that best describe you: Dedicated, ambitious and friendly

Would most like to meet: Kosuke Kitajima- Japan

Most prized possession: My computer

Biggest influence on career: My parents because they always try to push me further

Toughest opponent: Darren Mew

Biggest passion away from swimming: Chilling out with friends

Biggest disappointment: I didn't swim as well as I know I could at the National Youth Championships in 2004

Favourite venue and why: Tow Cross, Glasgow. I always swim my best there

Tips to relax: Sleep!

Family: My mum is called Moira and she's a nurse. My dad is called David and he's a mechanic. I also have a sister called Siobhan

Ultimate ambition: To win an Olympic medal

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Swimming in the Olympics hopefully
