GENERAL INFORMATION

First sporting success:
When I was 10 I won a bronze medal in the Under 12's section at the Scottish Schools championships.

Finest sporting moment: Breaking the British Junior record in the 200m butterfly at Towcross

Tip for the top: Train hard, keep focused and don't be drawn into doing anything through peer pressure

First GB selection year: 2005

Sporting heroes: Muhammad Ali and Pieter van der Hoogenband

Closest friends in sport: All my training friends

Favourite sport other than swimming: Football- I support Kilmarnock

Three words that best describe you: Dedicated, friendly and funny

Would most like to meet: Jose Mourniho

Biggest influence on career: My dad

Any other family connections to sport: My brother Scott is a swimmer too. His profile should be just above mine!

Toughest opponent: Lewis Smith

Biggest passion away from swimming: Football

Favourite venue and why: Ponds Forge, Sheffield because I always swim well there

Tips to relax: Watch T.V

Family: My mum is called Linda and she's a teacher. My dad is called Colin and he is an Accountant. I have two brothers called Scott and Craig.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still swimming with some world records under my belt hopefully!
