GENERAL INFORMATION

First sporting success:
Learning how to swim

Finest sporting moment: Winning gold in the 4x100m freestyle relay at the European Youth Olympics (2005)

Tip for the top: Believe in yourself. I always used to dream of representing my country in swimming, and look, I've done it!

First GB selection year: 2005

Sporting hero: My mum- she won a silver medal at the World Masters Championships in 2004

Closest friend in sport: Chloe Ross (Beckenham)

Favourite sport other than swimming: Rounders!

Three words that best describe you: Happy, determined and mad

Would most like to meet: Ian Thorpe and Ali G

Most prized possession: My teddy bear called Travis. I take him everywhere!

Biggest influence on career: My mum

Toughest opponent: Lizzie Simmonds- she is so fast!

Biggest passion away from swimming: Seeing my friends

Favourite venue and why: Crystal Palace because it's my home pool and I love it there

Tips to relax: Listen to music. I like R 'n' B, pop, hip-hop

Family: My mum is called Debbie. My dad is called Steve and he is a Fireman and also a taxi-driver. I also have an older sister called Kayleigh and she is at Loughborough University studying Human Biology

Ultimate ambition: To go to the Olympics

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still swimming and hopefully I would've won an Olympic medal by then too
