Finest sporting moment:
At an event in Germany, I swam an 11 second P.B in the 400m Freestyle. It was completely unexpected

First GB selection year: 2003

How and why get involved in swimming: A Sports Development Officer told me that I should try and take up the sport, which I did and it has taken off from there

Closest friend in sport: Daniel Pepper

Other sporting successes: I have competed in the London Junior Marathon. I finished in 15th place

Favourite sport other than swimming: Basketball

Three words that best describe you: Quiet, calm and happy

Most prized possession: My mobile phone

Biggest influence on career: My parents and close friends

Toughest opponent: Andrew Lindsay

Biggest passion away from swimming: Going out with friends

Biggest disappointment: Getting injured for 7 months in 2003

Tips to relax: Just take things as they come. You can't worry about things that haven't happened yet
