Framework Overview

The Aquatics School Competition Framework comprises of three development stages

1.  FUNdamentals. This is currently being developed and will be delivered as part of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming.

2.  Aqua Skills Festivals. This is a new festival format that includes the different aquatic disciplines – swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.  This is a fun style of competition that will provide opportunities for young people at Key Stage 2.

3.  School Competitions.  This incorporates existing swimming galas and encourages inter school competition.
