Competing at Brashat 6 months after I started diving. I won a silver medal

Finest sporting moment: Getting the points for the Junior Olympic Programme (JOP) in 2004 and competing in Perth in 2005

First GB selection year: 2004

How and why get involved in diving: I was having a lot of problems with my knees in gymnastics so I wanted to try something else. My friend Tonia Couch started diving 18 months before me and told me it was great so I thought I'd go along and have a try

Closest friend in sport: Tonia Couch

Favourite sport other than diving: Dancing and Gymnastics

Three words that best describe you: Blonde (inside), giggly and bubbly

Would most like to meet: Usher

Most prized possession: Phone

Biggest influence on career: My family and friends, and the fact that I love it

Toughest opponent: Jodie McGroaty

Any pets: I have three guinea pigs

Biggest disappointment: Missing the Junior Europeans by 0.9 points on the 1m Springboard

Favourite venue and why: Southampton because the boards are really nice and its where I got my JOP points for the first time

Education: I am at college doing a National Certificate in Sport

Ultimate ambition: To go to the Olympics and to coach a diver to the Olympics

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Diving and coaching
