MAIN FEATURE

State of play – State of the nation report
No time for the dust to settle.

There was a time when Britain led the world in water polo but it’s now many years since we were able even to compete in an Olympic tournament let alone win it.  London 2012 will change all that, the home nation status offering Britain the chance to be an Olympic water polo nation once again.  That prospect, in turn, means massive changes as Britain seeks to be internationally competitive in time for the home Olympics.
