How did you get involved with synchro: I used to do dance and swimming as a child, my mum saw that a synchro club trained at the same pool as me and asked if I wanted to have a go.

Sporting heroes: Kelly Holmes, Gemma Mengual

Closest friend in sport: Katie Skelton, Jazmine Stansbury, Beth Smith, The whole squad are close though

Favourite sport other than synchro: I like most sports, love trampolining, and watching the football.

Biggest influence on your career: my fellow athletes

Favorite venue and why: Garrison, nice pool, and its become home

Any other family connections to sport: brother used to do Synchro, until he discovered rugby

Tips to relax: take time out for yourself, you’re allowed to be selfish sometimes

Ultimate ambition: Compete at the 2012 Olympics, maybe carry on to improve GB’s ranking

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Former Olympian, Training or not, I still want to be involved in sport.
