GENERAL INFORMATION

First sporting success:
Becoming the Regional and National Novice Champion when I was eight

Finest sporting moment: When I walked out to compete at the World Championships in Montreal (2005) and having the support of the crowd for every dive

Tip for the top: Always be determined and believe that there is nothing that you cannot achieve

First GB selection year: World Class Start programme in 2002

Sporting heroes: Lean Taylor, Peter Waterfield and Lance Armstrong

Closest friends in sport: Tonia Couch and Katie Hamilton

Favourite sport other than diving: Gymnastics

Three words that best describe you: A perfectionist, determined and motivated

Would most like to meet: I'd like to go back in time and meet Greg Louganis

Most prized possession: I have a scrap book that I take to competitions with me. It has all of my results, messages from people and pictures from my friends in it

Biggest influence on career: Adam Sotheran (coach). He is always there to help me and give me advice and support

Any other family connections to sport: My brothers are National Trampolinists

Toughest opponent: Everyone who competes in the same event as me

Biggest passion away from diving: Art, especially anything to do with diving or water

Biggest disappointment: I had a shoulder injury which I had to have an operation to fix (August 2005)

Favourite venue and why: Ponds Forge because it is my home pool

Tips to relax: Concentrate on one unstressful thing. Something that will make you smile

Family: My Mum is called Debra and my Dad is called Phillip. I also have two brothers called James and Jack

Ultimate ambition: To compete in an Olympic final

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Hopefully I would have completed my ambition by then!
