Finest ever performance/Why: Durban 2006 ITC World Championships, 200m IM and 400m Free were the best races of my life!

First senior international meet: Durban 2006 ITC World Championships.

Role models: Sascha Kindred

My aspirations are: To win a Paralympic gold medal and become a world record holder.

Tip for the top: Enjoy the journey, accept sacrifices and disappointments.

Life after swimming: Settle down and have some children, become an engineer of some sort.

Music: I’m not a music based man, but anything good.

If I wasn’t a swimmer I would be: Living an ordinary teenage life.

Describe yourself in three words: Pretty damn cool.

Most prized possession: I’m a non-materialistic man so my friends and family!

Biggest influence on career: My parents for giving me the opportunity to swim and myself for doing what I want to do.
