Finest ever performance/Why: Winning my bronze medal in the 200m I.M. at the 2006 World Championships in Durban, South Africa. It meant so much to me because I was only 13 and the medal was unexpected. It was such a great experience to have at that age.

First senior international meet: IPC World Championships, 2006

Role models: Kirsty Coventry

My aspirations are: To compete on home ground at 2012 in front of my family and friends.

Music: Fall out Boy, other upbeat music

If I wasn’t a swimmer I would be: In another sport, maybe athletics

Most prized possession: My medal from the World Championships – it means everything to me.

Biggest influence on career: My family and everyone who I train with, they are the best
