Pensions
This is currently an area of great debate and uncertainty. At present an employer is not required to provide a company pension scheme. Where one does exist, all employees have an equal right to pay into this scheme, where they wish to. If they do not there should be no compulsion from the employer for them to do so.
Employers should be aware of legislation being considered, where there will be a requirement for companies to provide schemes for employees. The precise arrangements are not yet known, but we recommend that swim schools seek advice in this area from qualified Financial Advisers to keep themselves appraised of the situation for their company.
