Favourite Event: 100m backstroke / 400 freestyle
Finest ever performance/Why: The 100m Backstroke at the Beijing Paralympics 2008. I won the gold medal and broke the world record.
First senior international meet: 2007 German Open, Berlin
Role models: Becky Adlington / Jo Jackson
My aspirations are: To stay at the top of my game until the London 2012 Paralympics.
Tip for the top: Pain is weakness leaving the body. Life after swimming: A driving instructor and hopefully coaching swimming
Music: Anything
If I wasn‘t a swimmer I would be a: Driving Instructor. Describe yourself in three words: Blonde, dizzy and approachable.
Would most like to meet: Katie Phelps.
Most prized possession: My Mercedes Benz.
Biggest influence on career: John Stout and Carol Hunt
