City of Leicester swimmer Tsubasa Nakagawa has broken Mark Foster's 22 year old British Junior record for the 50m Freestyle event.

On Saturday 26 April at Braunstone Leisure Centre, Leicestershire, Nakagawa of City of Leicester and Knighton Fields SC broke the short course record for 50m Freestyle set by the five time olympian and world medallist Mark Foster.
The Record stood at 23.41 and Nakagawa clocked 23.39 (subject to ratification). Foster has set the record while swimming for Millfield School at a meet in Barnet on 20th March 1986.
