Volunteer Opportunities

The ASA Youth Forum is looking to select four young Technical Officials to give them the opportunity to officiate at the ASA Age Group Championships this July at Ponds Forge.

The ASA Age Group Championships is a national event for swimmers aged 11 to 14. The event takes place from the 24th-27th of July 2008. Each of the four officials will be shadowing highly experienced officials and will rotate through the various officiating roles to provide a variety of experiences. Additionally they will be public figures promoting young volunteers throughout swimming.

All applicants must be 18-25 years of age with previous officiating experience and a level 1 judge qualification. It is preferable that you are able to attend all four days, but applicants will be considered who can attend for a minimum of two days.  All food costs, an officiating uniform and drinks bottles will be provided as well as three night’s accommodation and travel costs.
