Become an Approved Centre

Organisations wishing to deliver ASA Awarding Body qualifications are required to achieve Approved Centre status.  A full guidance document and application forms are available to download below.

The ASA Awarding Body has been granted the sole licence by sports coach UK to award the United Kingdom Certificate in Coaching (UKCC) qualifications in England and Wales.  As part of this licence the ASA Awarding Body is required to monitor and evaluate the delivery of these qualifications at all centres approved to deliver them.  The implementation of monitoring and evaluation procedures by the ASA in line with the scUK licence necessitates the introduction of an annual fee.  Centres who are within an Institute of Swimming regional network will not be liable for the annual fee.  Click here to read more about regional networks and how to become part of one.
