Building Schools for the Future - Added value from swimming

Building Schools for the Future is a government-funded programme aimed at rebuilding and renewing England’s state secondary schools where there is a need.

The Building Schools for the Future (BSF) added value from swimming document has been produced by the asa to guide schools wanting to include swimming pools as part of the government’s construction programme.

the asa’s major recommendation is that as many of the schools as possible should include in their renovation plans a swimming pool to be shared with the community because swimming can bring communities and schools together.
