Andrew Willis is one of the most experienced members of the swimming team having competed at every level of competition and won bronze at the 2015 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The 2017 British Swimming Championships saw him win bronze in
the 200m Breaststroke.
A second call up to Team GB for Andrew saw him compete at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in the Men's 200 Breaststroke and narrowly missed out on a podium finish after touching in fourth just 0.08 seconds off the bronze medal winning time.
Willis (England) landed his first senior international medal in the summer of 2014, winning 200m Breaststroke bronze for England at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, before finishing fourth in the same event at the European Championships in Berlin the following month.
At the 2013 World Championships he finished just 0.18 seconds of the podium, finishing fourth in the 200m Breaststroke out in Barcelona.
Strong performances and multiple final berths claimed throughout 2011 and 2012 including the World champs in Shanghai and a first British Champs title in 2012, winning the 200m Breaststroke title ahead of teammate and training partner Michael Jamieson to book his spot at his first Olympic Games, then qualified for the Olympic final before ultimately finishing eighth.
Delhi 2010 saw another final spot secured, narrowly missing out on a medal. And following his return from Delhi, lowering his personal best en route to a final appearance in the 200m Breaststroke on his World Championship debut in Shanghai in 2011.
His earlier career saw him break through into the senior ranks of the British team after reaching the 200m Breast final at the European Junior Championships in 2008.
