Brodie Williams has had success on the international junior stage and began a strong transition into the senior ranks of British Swimming as became European Champion at Glasgow 2018.
Williams, who is based at the Millfield School training programme, the same place Olympic medallist and World Champion James Guy trained for many years and is coached by former international swimmer Euan Dale.
He reached the semi-finals of both the 100m and 200m Backstroke events, where he ultimately finished 10th and 11th. He also played his part in the gold medal-winning relay of the Men's 4x100m Medley.
He made a trip to the British Championship podium in 2018 as he claimed silver in the 200m Backstroke which helped secure him his first call-up to a senior international competition representing Great Britain.
His 2017 season finished with a great learning experience as he reached the 400m Individual Medley final of the World Junior Swimming Championship in Indianapolis.
