Blake Aldridge is currently a High Diver who was ranked fourth overall in the World Series Event in the 2015 season. He has also been an Olympic diving athlete having competed in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
In 2016, Aldridge will be taking part in his sixth year in the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. He impressively managed to win the first World Series stop in Cuba in 2014 and his best overall finish was fourth in the 2015 season. He won two silvers in the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in La Rochelle in 2015 and picked up a gold in Havana Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in 2014.
Aldridge is also well known for being Tom Daley’s synchro partner at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and has previously been a British diving world champion.
Aldridge’s first dive form 27 metres was at the World Series competition in La Rochelle in June 2011 and he has been striving for success ever since. He has also brought in two extremely difficult dives into high cliff diving. The first is a back armstand dive with four twists and a difficulty degree of 6.2 and the other dive is a reverse 2 somersault with 5 twists and a difficulty degree of 6.3.
