Olivia Federici Torso New

Olivia Federici is the most experienced members of the Synchronised Swimming squad having already competed at two Olympics and four World Championships.

Most recently, Federici, alongside Katie Clarke, put in an impressive performance to take first place in the Duet Free second round at the Olympic Games Synchronised Swimming Qualification Tournament as they claimed a quota place for the Olympics Games in Rio. Olivia has competed in two Olympic Games so far. She performed in the Duet event in both 2008 and 2012, and was part of her first Team event in 2012.

Federici managed to finish in seventh place in the Duet Event and fifth in the Team Event at the 2012 European Championships before announcing her retirement from the sport after the 2013 World Championships.

Federici and her former Duet partner Jenna Randall secured their best international finish to date at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, capturing silver medals. At the 2009 World Championships they placed tenth and at the 2010 European Championships, they placed fifth.

Federici and Randall were first paired for the 2006 Commonwealth Games where they eventually finished fourth. In 2008 Federici and Randall became the first British Synchro swimmers to compete at an Olympic Games since Natasha Haynes, Kerry Shacklock and Laila Vakil at Barcelona 1992. They placed 14th.
