Triple Olympian Tonia Couch successfully booked herself into the Rio 2016 final of the Women’s 10m Platform event later this evening.
After a shaky start in the opening two rounds of the semi-finals Couch then began to progress up the rankings in the third round.
Couch closed the semi-final stage of the event in 10th place and posted an overall score of 318.00.
Her best dive came in round three, an Inward 3½ Somersaults tucked recorded a score of 72.00.
Couch then closed the semi-finals with a Reverse 2 ½ Somersaults tucked which she executed well to secure the all-important finals berth.
