Keanna MacInnes is set to make her first appearance on a World Championships team with Great Britain this summer, following an impressive maiden British title in the 100m Butterfly at the 2023 British Swimming Championships and a breakthrough international year in 2022.
The University of Stirling athlete came out on top in a thrilling 100m Butterfly final at Ponds Forge in April 2023 to seal her place on the team for Fukuoka – adding to the 200m Butterfly bronze medal she won earlier in the week.
The previous year saw Keanna break into the senior fold over two international competitions, the Commonwealth Games with Team Scotland and the European Aquatics Championships.
The latter event featured finals appearances in both the 100m and 200m Butterfly, MacInnes finishing seventh and sixth respectively.
