Faye Rogers achieved selection for a debut Para Swimming World Championships following her performances in Sheffield at the UK leg of the 2023 World Series.
The University of Aberdeen Performance swimmer impressively set a number of short course S10 British records at the 2022 British Para Swimming Winter National Meet, before continuing her rise within the world of para-swimming by stepping onto the podium for gold in the Women’s MC 100m Butterfly at the Citi World Para Swimming Series inc. British Para Swimming Meet in 2023.
The Patrick Miley-coached swimmer competed at the 2021 Olympic Selection trials as an 18-year-old, however an accident which resulted in a fused elbow, and subsequent S10 classification resulted in a transition into para-swimming competition.
