Guy seals silver in Singapore

James Guy claimed a silver medal on the opening day of the Singapore leg of the FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup.

Guy (Millfield) finished behind Ukraine’s Mykhailo Romanchuk to take the silver in the Men’s 400m Freestyle, the pair were joined on the podium by Poul Zellman of Germany.

Fellow Brit Ben Proud (Plymouth Leander) also made a podium appearance as he collected a bronze medal in the Men’s 50m Butterfly behind South Africa’s Chad Le Clos and Roland Schoeman respectively.

These medals continue the successful run that the pair had during cluster two of the world cup in Dubai and Doha.
