Grace Reid has secured a place in the 3m Springboard semi-final after a consistent performance in her first Olympic prelim competition.
Reid showed her maturity to dive alongside the world’s best and secure an overall mark of 304.95.
She scored 63.00 for her Reverse 2 ½ Somersaults piked in the third round but saved her best for last.
A score of 64.50 for her Front 2 ½ Somersaults 1 Twist piked saw her finish in 14th place overall and progress to the semi-final.
Team-mate Rebecca Gallantree finished in 20th place overall with a score of 286.65 points.
