This
year, James returned to the top of the podium at the 2017 World Championships when
he swam an impressive final leg of the 4x200m Freestyle relay to claim gold
ahead of the USA.
His competition continued with silver in the 4x100m Medley Relay and he culminated his performance with a bronze medal in the 100m Butterfly. His performance to win his bronze saw him lower the British record twice.
