Bower takes gold in Dresden

Ruby Bower (City of Leeds) won gold on the opening day of the International Youth Diving Meet in Dresden.

Bower, who is originally from Bradford, was competing in the girls’ A Platform final and took on a strong field to win the team’s first gold medal.

The Brit beat Christina Wassen (Germany) and Miyoko Camryn Hidalgo (USA) to take the gold with a score of 426.85.
