Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley put in an impressive performance to win silver in the final leg of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series in Mexico.
Competing in the 10m Platform final alongside World Champion Qiu Bo (China), Daley looked strong and consistent throughout the rounds.
Showing his true potential he scored almost 100 points for his first dive (Back Triple Somersaults tucked) to go into the lead.
Daley continued his high scoring dives but really showed his world class ability in the penultimate round when he scored five tens for his Back 3 ½ Somersaults piked.
The London-based diver took silver with a total of 577.20 - his highest score of the year so far. He also claimed third place in the overall rankings across the nine legs of the Series.
European silver medallist Sarah Barrow finished in sixth place in the women’s 10m Platform with a final score of 330.50. Tonia Couch finished sixth in her semi final with 349.90 points.
