The best of British junior divers showed their true potential throughout the competition at the British Junior Elite Diving Championships in Plymouth.
Aiden Heslop (Plymouth Diving) secured a hat trick of golds in the B age group after winning the 1m, 3m and 10m. On the 1m he won with a score of 383.65 while he secured 415.20 points on the 3m board and in the Platform event he scored 431.80.
Callie Eaglestone (Crystal Palace) secured a similar hat trick in the C age group with gold medals on all board. She scored 290.50 on the 1m Springboard and later scored 339.70 on the 3m Springboard.
She concluded her golds with 267.60 on the Platform. She also won the 3m Synchro with her partner Evie Smith with a score of 216.60.
On the back of her success at the 7 Nations competition, Plymouth Diving Victoria Vincent won both the 3m Springboard (397.90) and the 10m Platform (366.05).
Southend’s Tyler Humphreys excelled in both the Springboard events taking gold in 1m with a score of 327.45 and a total of 378.15 on the 3m. Ben Cutmore (Luton Diving) won the Platform event with a score of 355.55.
City of Sheffield’s Millie Hafferty secured gold in the 1m and 3m Synchro and took a total of 382.65 in the individual event. She teamed up with club mate Millie Fowler to take the 3m Synchro title with 258.09 points.
Jordan Houlden (City of Sheffield) won the 1m Springboard title with a score of 517.30 with Anthony Harding (City of Leeds) taking victory in the 3m event with a score of 544.75. Noah Williams (Dive London/Crystal Palace) won the Platform with a score of 551.40.
Kayleigh Sinclair (Plymouth Diving) won the gold in the 3m Springboard with a score of 422.40 with Shanice Lobb (Plymouth Diving) winning gold in her last Elite Junior competition with a score of 433.85.
Crystal Palace’s Maria Papworth won the 1m Springboard with a score of 319.90 points.
The two boys’ synchro events were won by Lucas Thomson and Aaron Daly and Adam Charity and Joe Stocking. Thomson and Daly (Edinburgh Diving) won with a total of 228.45 with Charity and Stocking taking gold with 219.75 points.
