Jack Laugher claimed his first individual FINA/NVC Diving World Series gold medal after winning the men’s 3m Springboard by over thirty points.
Laugher impressed with a consistent semi final performance to finish second behind Cao Yuan (China) with a score of 517.85.
In the final, Laugher started with intent by putting 91.80 points on the board with his Front 2 ½ Somersaults 2 Twists piked.
The Brit continued to dominate the final and was in first place throughout all six rounds but he saved his best for last when he score almost 100 points for his Back 3 ½ Somersaults tucked.
Laugher won his gold medal with a score of 564.35 points with China’s He Chong in second with 531.85 points and Yuan in bronze with a score of 531.30.
