Jack Laugher secured his first individual World Series medal after winning bronze in the 3m Springboard in Moscow.
Laugher, who finished fourth at the London leg of the World Series, won his semi final, beating reigning world champion He Chong and former world champion Qin Kai (both China).
The City of Leeds diver started the final with confidence and was lying in second place after the second round. Laugher dropped marks on his Inward 3 ½ Somersaults tucked but really stole the show in the penultimate round.
He performed his Front 4 ½ Somersaults tucked excellently to score two 10s and a total of 108.30 points for the dive.
He secured his position on the podium with a total score of 512.45.
In the women’s 3m Springboard Hannah Starling just missed out on a place in the final. She finished in fourth place in her semi final but scored an impressive 300.50 points.
