Jack Laugher won his first World Series silver medal with an excellent performance at the fifth leg of the 2014 FINA/NVC Diving World Series in Windsor, Canada.
Laugher, who won his first individual World Series medal with bronze at the previous leg in Moscow, took another step up at the Canada leg of the competition.
After also winning bronze with Chris Mears in the 3m Synchro in North America, Laugher continued his form into the individual event and finished just behind He Chong (China) in his semi final.
In the final, he remained within the medal placings throughout but sealed his silver medal with 95.00 points for his Front 4 ½ Somersaults tucked.
Laugher won silver with a total of 504.30. Chong took gold in 521.85 points and the bronze went to Illya Kvasha (Ukraine) with a final score of 498.05.
Hannah Starling and Alicia Blagg finished in fourth and sixth place respectively in their 3m Springboard semi final. Starling scored 311.15 while Blagg took 276.95 points.
