Chris Mears and Jack Laugher finished in fourth place in the men’s 3m Synchro at the second leg of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series in Dubai.
Mears and Laugher started the competition excellently with 105 points for their required dives.
The pair were in a medal position until the penultimate round and a slight over rotation on the Front 4 ½ Somersaults tucked led them to finishing in fourth place with an overall score of 422.40.
Rebecca Gallantree and Alicia Blagg finished in fifth place in the women’s 3m Synchro with an overall score of 300.87.
Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow took sixth place in the women’s 10m Synchro with a score of 305.04.
