Respects paid to former British diver and wife

British Swimming has sent its warmest condolences to the family of former British diver Peter Tarsey and wife Jean who have been found shot dead at their villa in Spain.

Peter Tarsey (77) competed for Great Britain at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. He also competed in two Commonwealth Games for England and won bronze in 1958. He was found dead alongisde his wife Jean (77) at their home in Xalo near Benidorm on the Costa Blanca, on Sunday 29 March. Originally from Brentford, Peter and Jean are survived by two sons.
