Georgia Ward and Robyn Birch secured silver in the 10m Synchro on the third day of competition at the LEN European Championships in Rostock.
Ward and Birch showed their intent by winning their prelim and started their final well by scoring almost 100 points for their required dives.
They scored consistently for their optional rounds to move up the score board and scored 79.68 for their Inward 3 ½ Somersaults tucked and finished with the silver medal with a score of 310.74.
Yulia Timoshinina and Ekaterina Petukhova (RUS) won the final with a score of 319.20 and Villo Kormos and Zsofia Reisinger (HUN) scored 291.72 for the bronze medal.
"I was a little nervous for the synchro after my Individual," Ward said. "But synchro is always fun and we just tried to keep calm, confident and consistent. To get the silver is awesome and we are so happy."
Freddie Woodward finished in 11th place in the 3m Springboard final with a score of 363.10 – he was competing as the youngest athlete within the final.
