A cohort of eight British divers will travel to North America for the opening legs of the World Aquatics World Cup, while a further ten-strong team has been chosen to attend the Canada Cup of Diving and American Cup.
With the 2026 campaign recently getting underway at the Aquatics GB Diving International, Britain’s senior divers prepare to build through the season with exposure to a series of high-quality competition opportunities.
A team of eight divers have been nominated to compete at the 2026 World Aquatics Diving World Cup which stops first in Montreal, Canada across 26th February - 1st March, before heading a week later to Zapopan, Mexico – with these two legs qualifying opportunities for the Super Final in Beijing, China at the beginning of May.
Jordan Houlden claimed a maiden World Cup gold from the springboard in Canada last season, while Anthony Harding, Jack Laugher, Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen also return to the competition series having each earned Super Final silverware in 2025 before going to achieve their respective 3m synchro world championship medals in Singapore.
Men’s platform divers, Euan McCabe and Ben Cutmore, will make their debut bow on the World Cup stage, with springboard specialist Ross Haslam adding a depth of experience to the group going head-to-head with the world’s best early in 2026.
Meanwhile a further ten-strong British team will travel to compete in two World Aquatics Diving Recognised Events ahead of returning to British soil to contest for British titles at the 2026 Aquatics GB Diving Championships – which this year will play a crucial role in determining the selections for this summer’s European Aquatics Championships.
Double Olympic medallist, Noah Williams, is set make a competitive return to the diving boards for the first time since Paris 2024 at the Canada Cup of Diving and American Cup events, while Eden Cheng, Amy Rollinson and Desharne Bent-Ashmeil will all aim to carry through the form that saw them take the top step of the podium in Sheffield at the opening fixture of the 2026 international calendar.
Maisie Bond, Lois Toulson, Kyle Kothari, Noah Penman, Leon Baker and Todd Geggus complete the British line up heading out to experience back-to-back weekends of international competition in April.
